The Alleghany Highlands is filled with opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors.

If you need a change of pace from hiking, biking or riding on our many scenic trails, you can take to the water on the Alleghany Highlands Blueway, a network of rivers and lakes suited for paddling, fishing, sailing or jet-skiing. There are also seasonal opportunities for hunting. And any time is a good time for a scenic drive or bird and wildlife viewing.
