Jackson River Scenic Trail

Developed from an old railroad bed and part of the Rails to Trails Conservancy. The Jackson River Scenic Trail begins just north of downtown Covington and runs parallel to the Jackson River for 14.4 beautiful miles. The mostly flat terrain makes it a fun experience for the whole family. The multi-use trail is growing in popularity with walkers, runners, bike riders and horseback riders.
